This year we saved seeds to share of two of my most favorite plants to grow in the garden; French Marigolds and Greek Basil.

Greek basil has a small growing habit and makes the cutest little globed bush of basil. Its tiny leaves are the perfect size to sprinkle on a salad or add to a lasagna without the hassle of chopping. The Marigolds are a bright red and orange color that stays vibrant all the way until the frost. The scent of a marigold is not for everyone and is most often used to detour pests from your vegetable plants. But I will tell you it is one of my favorite summer scents.

They are so easy to grow! You can find seeds for both in our online shop in January.

U-Pick Blackberries

There is nothing quite like tasting a ripe blackberry right off of the cane. Plump and juicy, bursting with one of the sweetest flavors that exists in nature, our brambles of berries are no exception.
