One new endeavor on the farm is the raising of Cornish Rock chickens for meat. There are a number of reasons to choose pasture raised chicken over the traditional model, but we will relay ours: anything raised for food deserves to be treated with the greatest amount of respect during its life. Our chickens are in a. brooder with ample room for the first two weeks and then on to their own pasture where they can lounge, chase bugs, and dustbathe as they please.
